POV: You have just bought yourself some really cool works of art, and a couple of inexpensive frames with plexiglass. You can't wait to hang them on the wall, and when you finally do, you see the terrible glare that ruins the whole expression...
Okay, so now what? You can swap out the frames for some that have anti-reflective art glass, but then you weren't going to spend that much money on frames. You also try to take out the Plexiglas, but quickly see that the artwork just falls out as it has no support. So how do you fix this image frame glare problem?
We have found the solution!
Since we discovered this life hack, we no longer have art on the walls in the studio or at home that has glare and reflection in it. This method works really well with our spoke frames and prints, so we definitely recommend you try it!
FULL DISCLAIMER: This method of avoiding glare in frames obviously makes the art more susceptible to damage and wear. We do not recommend doing this if the art print is exposed to objects or in high humidity.
1. FIRST PLACE THE PRINT IN THE FRAME
2. PLACE THE PLEXIGLASS BEHIND THE PRINT
3. ATTACH TO THE BACK PLATE
VOILA! NO GLAZE OR REFLECTION!
So, now you know how to avoid glare and reflection in your picture frames, and can let the art hang in all its glory on the wall!
